Getting Your Head in the Game - Workshop #3

Schedule of Workshops - 3 are required for Certificate

1. Telling Your Story - Interview Prep - 12/3/24 - 12 pm - 1:30 pm 

• Learn to Community your lived experiences throughout career, specifically in preparation for interview. 
  • Align one's experiences and skill set with the required job expectations.
  • Effectively communicate one's value using concise and language. 

2. Breaking down your Major into Skills - 12/3/24 - 2 pm - 3:30 pm

• Identify the skills from one's area of study (aka major) into transferable and highly needed workforce skills.
  • Demonstrate one's knowledge base
  • Clearly communicate the required skills for future roles

3.  Getting your Head in the Game:  12/4/24 - 12 pm - 1:30 pm - Final Workshop for Certificate

• Reframe and reimage any preconceived thoughts or limiting beliefs to expand one's leadership capacity
  • Develop a stronger leadership identity
  • Acknowledge that leadership development is a mental exercise
