Cross-Country State Results

Sherlyn Gomez graduated from Bishop Montgomery High School with an unweighted 3.8 GPA in 2023. She joined the LAHC cross country team in the summer of 2023.  In her first season of competition, she finished 7th in the South Coast Conference Championships. Sherlyn placed 23rd in So Cal Championships and then finished 35th in State.

Due to her hard work and commitment to the LAHC cross country team, Sherlyn was the most improved runner from last year in the state with a PR this season of 18:33.1. 

This 2024 season, she won the South Coast Conference as the Individual cross country Champion. In the Southern Cal Championships she placed 7th overall and earned So  Cal “All First Team.” At the State championships, Sherlyn became an “All American “ and finished 4th overall with a time of 18:37 on a muddy rainy course.  Congrats to our Men as well.   Congrats to all the winners
