The Harbor College CalWorks can help you with the following:

• Access to a wide range of short-term certificates, vocational training, and associate degree programs
• Assist you with short and long-term educational and career goals.
• One-to-one counseling services
• Advocate student rights and referrals to legal aid services
• Provide information about Greater Avenues for Independence (GAIN) program requirements
• Complete GAIN forms and helping you meet 32/35 hour GAIN requirement
• Provide workshops on work/life skills
• Part-time work-study jobs available on campus (Note: Federal work-study does not affect cash aid)
• Provide students with on and off-campus resources
