Eligibility for the Program

  • Must enroll in English 101 in the fall semester and English 102 in the spring semester
  • Must enroll in Counseling 20 in the fall semester and Counseling 17 in the spring semester
  • Must attend certain evening and weekend Puente activities
  • Must commit to Puente class enrollment, continually meeting with the Puente counselor, involved in activities, and being the best student possible in order to achieve their goals.
  • Students do NOT have to be full-time in order to join the Puente Project.
  • Puente is open to all students
