CSU and UC Transfer Articulation Agreements

ASSIST- ASSIST (Articulation System Stimulating Interinstitutional Student Transfer) shows the official course articulation agreements between California Community Colleges and CSU's and UC's.

These agreements can be viewed either by department or by major. Students often find the agreements BY MAJOR to be most helpful. How do I use ASSIST to find transfer information?

Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT), also known as AA-T/AS-T
The California Community College system offers California State University transfer students a great option- the Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT). These degrees (AA-T & AS-T) allow students to complete an Associate’s degree and satisfy lower-division general education and major requirements for transfer at the same time. Students who complete the ADT requirements will:

  • Earn an associate’s degree for transfer from LAHC;

  • Receive guaranteed admission to a campus in the CSU system (although not to a specific campus/major);

  • A 1.0 GPA bump to the similar CSU Major

  • Are prepared to start upper-division coursework at the CSU;

  • Do not have to complete more than 60 units after transfer.
