What does a VIP Ticket buy?
As a VIP, you will be just that a V.I.P! With a V.I.P. ticket, you will have a front-row seat at the demos and Closing Ceremony! The highlight of being a VIP is your special invitation to The Big Easy! You will have an exclusive lunch in The Big Easy. The Harbor Team did not hold back when preparing for this event. Be sure to enter through the French Quarter - first Floor of the Student Union - to check-in and receive your VIP Pass.

8:40 am – 11:30 am – Tours, sneak-peak at competitors, savory and bakery demos

Each School will coordinate a competition team which will consist of:

Four (4) students for the Savory Team Competition (12 students total)

Two (2) students for the Baking Competition (6 students total)

Two (2) students for the Tablescaping Competition (6 students total)

Three competing schools - LA Harbor College, LA Trade Tech, LA Mission College (24 students)

The Culinary Cup Winner will not only have bragging rights for a year, but they will host the custom-designed Culinary Cup perpetual trophy for one year reflecting their great accomplishment. The College with the most points - overall - wins the Culinary Cup.
The Culinary Cup, established in 2019, is a District-wide (Los Angeles Community College District) competition between the three colleges in the District that offer a culinary curriculum, focusing on the quality of the culinary programs and its students. The Culinary Cup is a tool to market to future culinary students, provide nutritional education, provide friendly competition, and raise scholarship funds specifically for culinary students. The College with the most points - overall - wins the Culinary Cup.
