VA Work-Study 

The VA Work Study program offers opportunities for eligible veterans and dependents to work part-time while attending school and receive financial assistance.
  • Eligibility: Eligibility criteria include:
    • Currently receiving VA education benefits (e.g., Post-9/11 GI Bill, Montgomery GI Bill).
    • Enrolled at least three-quarter time or more in a college degree, vocational, or professional program.
    • Veterans with a service-connected disability rated by VA as at least 30% or more may qualify for certain positions.
  • Hourly wage: Participants are paid at least the federal or state minimum wage, whichever is higher.
    •  Flexible scheduling: Work hours can typically be scheduled around class times and other obligations.
    • Gain experience: Work Study positions often provide valuable job experience relevant to the participant's field of study or career goals.
